Create a provider

Create a provider after storing its API credential in Vault.

  1. Go to Bot → Providers and select Add provider.
  2. Enter a name and choose OpenAI, Deepgram, or xAI.
  3. Select the Vault secret for the API credential.
  4. Set the model and the language, voice, transcription, or audio options required by the selected type.
  5. Assign the provider to the Bot created earlier.
  6. Save the provider.

Multiple provider objects can use the same type. Use separate objects for different accounts, models, or service policies.

The provider does not define a network endpoint or become executable by itself. Create a transport and modality next.
