Create a Secret

In Voxtronics, secrets are stored in Vaults.

These secrets can be referenced in configurations for fields such as usernames or passwords.

Create a new Secret​

To create a new secret:

  1. Go to Vault
  2. Click “New Secret”
  3. Choose a name for the secret (not used for operations)
  4. Select a slug for the secret; this is used for referencing it in configurations
  5. (Optional) Add a username
  6. (Optional) Add a description
  7. Enter the secret value
  8. Click “Create Secret”
